Handyworker Program

The Handyworker Program provides free minor home repairs for low-income seniors and persons with permanent disabilities who own and live in a single family home in the City of Los Angeles. These repairs are for routine maintenance or minor improvements that address homeowners’ health, safety, and accessibility concerns. In addition, this program also assists homeowners and renters by installing safety devices such as shower chairs, grab bars, and toilet seat risers to help prevent accidents.
